An impressive career can conceal some of the darkest stories beneath. The winner of the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through many years of hard work and an immense patience. Jones' childhood was difficult because she was born to a single mother in a large family. She lived with her mother in a basement church and was always moving around. Jones had to be moved to a different school each year up until her time in high school as a result of her nomadic life. Jones who was interested in athletics at Theodore Roosevelt high school, was able to live away from her mom to follow her passion. Jones was a member of four different families in order to keep her study focused. Jones, a cellist in the school's orchestra, and winner of the Gatorade the track and field award for athlete of the Year won her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete award at the close of her high school career. Jones was one of the most skilled hurdlers in her first year of college. At the 2002 NCAA Track and Field Championships, Jones won the 100 meter hurdles. She was also an athlete who was second in the 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles event in 2003 and 2004. The track career after she completed her studies during 2005 Jones began training hard to pursue an athletic career in track. Jones was the winner of Torino Memorial in 2005, and also Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

Brandt, who was raised in Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings, relocated to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her teens. The local casting directors discovered her. Brandt took on the role of Naevia on the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences by her acting and was one of the shows biggest starlets. Mazikeen is a popular Vertigo/DC comic book character and Vertigo/DC series Lucifer was her character on the hit Netflix show. Forbes listed Lucifer, the world's most-watched series in 2021. Lesley Brandt along with the rest of her family relocated from the United States to Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. She began her career within Auckland as a retailer, and was then promoted to an IT manager consultant. Lesley was featured in a variety of commercial ads after several modeling projects. She graduated in 2008 and completed her studies in acting. After that, in 2009 she continued her studies with the Meisner approach to study. Her first acting job was on the New Zealand TV series Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest supporting actress on New Zealand's television show Shortland Street. She also appeared on a sci-fi drama arrangement This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
