Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the show was coming back in production. Season Four premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has gained a large presence on social media.
